Introduction:

Founded on November 29, 2003, Lakpanhu Welfare Society operates with its head office in Tamlu Town, Longleng District, and a branch office in Dimapur District, Nagaland. The Society was initiated by concerned educated but unemployed individuals to address the pressing needs of those who silently suffer and struggle with daily challenges without a voice. Our mission is to provide sacrificial service in areas such as health, gender issues, development, employment, socio-economic income generation, and infrastructure. We are committed to serving individuals in need, regardless of caste or gender. Longleng District is home to many underprivileged and marginalized communities facing significant socio-economic challenges. The people in these areas, primarily from grassroots levels, struggle with poverty, inadequate healthcare, and limited access to proper education and basic amenities. The lack of infrastructure and development has left them vulnerable and often neglected in receiving essential services and opportunities for improvement. We believe that our diverse programs and initiatives, including seminars, training, and awareness camps, will have a significant positive impact on the local population. By bridging the gap in access to essential knowledge and resources, we aim to educate and empower individuals to make informed decisions for their lives and their environment. Our goal is to contribute to the upliftment and betterment of these communities, fostering positive change and creating opportunities for a brighter future.

Concept
The primary concept of Lakpanhu Welfare Society is to reach out to the countless neglected and underprivileged individuals in the region who silently endure hardship. Our mission is to provide essential care, shelter, and support to the homeless and marginalized, offering them the best possible services to uplift their lives. We are deeply committed to helping the most downtrodden members of our community secure stable sources of income and improve their daily existence. By empowering these individuals through skill development, education, and economic opportunities, we aim to break the cycle of poverty and foster long-term self-sufficiency. Our holistic approach addresses both immediate needs and the underlying causes of hardship, laying the foundation for a more secure and hopeful future for all those we serve. In addition to our core efforts, Lakpanhu Welfare Society also focuses on building strong community networks and fostering resilience among those we serve. We believe that sustainable change is achieved not just through individual empowerment, but also through the collective strength of communities. By facilitating access to resources, promoting awareness, and encouraging collaboration, we strive to create an environment where the underprivileged can thrive together. Our vision is to transform the lives of those who have been overlooked, ensuring they have the tools, support, and opportunities needed to lead dignified and fulfilling lives.
